Five year old and Teddy read together on children’s tablet, January 2013. “There is no surer foundation for a beautiful friendship than a mutual taste in literature.” ― P.G.Wodehouse
Glad you like it Patricia :) She is protected from the big wide world but learning in small ways even now how to interact with it and cope with the ups and downs life will bring. If only the grown ups of the world were all like her, we’d live in peace!
Cheers Jenny the scene was too good an opportunity to miss so I had to unpack a camera, fit a fast lens and return asap before it was lost!
ps got your email sorry didn’t reply yet – look out for it later today! :)
The ‘innocence’ has been so beautifully captured by you, Peter!
This little, adorable girl & her teddy instantly reminded me of a quote from Calvin & Hobbes: ‘Things are never quite as scary when you’ve got a best friend’… :)
“Pure Awesomeness” you’ve had depicted here… so much kudos within a frame! “Everyone in this world is believably connected for good reason” this image sings beautifully!
Hi Patti they really are. I can vaguely remember being attached to one or two soft toys as a kid. Watching and listening to her talk to hers is beautiful :)
So very precious!

Really neat. :) This looks exactly like my friend when she was younger!
Thanks Hannah. They’ve got to learn about technology so young now just to keep up!
So true! Its almost sad how technologically focused the world is today.
You’ve perfectly capture a beautiful scene. Both the girl and bear look very introspective and engrossed. And I whole heartedly agree with the quote!

Many thanks and glad you like the picture :)
Great job! No worries. I have been swamped at school and just got home from class… we have 12hrs of instruction on Thursdays! It’s a little intense.
That is indeed pretty intense! You’ll need 12 hours of sleep to recover from it :) Hope you’re enjoying the course Jenny.
